Achieve a Perfect Fit Through Basted Fittings
To ensure a superior fit, Alan David employs a traditional basted fitting. At this stage, the garment is temporarily assembled with loose basting thread, allowing clients to try it on while adjustments can still be made. This process makes it possible to refine posture, balance, and shoulder line, while also incorporating basic changes such as shortening sleeves
The basted fitting provides assurance that every measurement is precise and that the garment will deliver the highest level of comfort.

All overcoats contain a full canvas interior, specially imported from Italy, allowing for optimal structure & softness throughout the coat.
All linings are specific to overcoats. Suit linings are too thin and easily rip or fray over time. Our luxury linings will not only keep you warm they will hold up to the rigorous wear and tear overcoats are subjected to.
Every part of the overcoat is hand-pressed throughout the assembly process. Pressing between operations ensures the fabric will not shrink, bubble or pucker as it is worn.
