Your measurements are then sent to our legendary patternmakers who draft a pattern individualized to fit & flatter your body. Our measuring techniques and pattern-making skills have been time tested over four generations ensuring a perfect or close to perfect fit the very first time.

    Due to the fact that all custom sport coats are Made in the USA our lead times are quite short. Custom blazers & sport coats take 4 weeks to construct. A two-week and even 10 day rush service is available most times during the year. See below for a detailed summary of our pricing.

    Luxury Custom Sport Coats & Blazers ($2,000-$3,500): The highest quality fabrics from English and exclusive mills such as Zegna, Piachenza, and Escorial. This range also includes cashmere & wool blends as well as some of the 100% cashmere collections.

    Premium Custom Sport Coats & Blazers ($4,000-$8,700): Exclusive to Alan David Custom- Limited edition Zegna 12 mil & Antiprima collections, as well as Alashan 100% Super 180’s Wool & Cashmeres. These collections are not available in retail stores and are the essence of quality and luxury.

Great sport coat mills include Loro Piana, Zegna as well as a wide array of English mills sourced and available exclusively at Alan David. We pride ourselves in offering elegant luxurious jacket fabrics in any look you need from lightweight silk & wools to year-round wools and twills all the way up to elegant cashmeres.
